The silence of the library allowed me to gather my thoughts a little. There had been too much Tovald Nort in my life lately. I'd even fallen asleep and woken up next to him the last two days. Today it was a huge effort to pull away from his bitter lips and go my own way. His closeness was driving me crazy and making my skin blaze. I used to think it was the effects of his powerful energy. I grabbed the black leather book with the golden letters on it that read Vicious Tales, and watched as a sheet of paper fell out of it and onto the floor. With a gust of wind, I returned the sheet to my hand and unfolded it. In dark ink, in ornate handwriting, was written a letter.

Before you follow in my footsteps and become Archleach, choose a Dark Queen beforehand. It must be a powerful sorceress or witch. It may take you years to find her, but you will feel the air grow hot between you and the power hungry for strength.

"You know it's rude to read other people's letters, little Melissa. Or did I punish the wrong witch?" Nort asked in a playful tone.

I turned around and spotted him at the entrance to a narrow library with a single arched window. Instantly, I turned the sheet over and saw that there was something unusual there. Save me Creator, right on the back of the sheet with shadows was drawn a female figure with a puffed up ass, and from behind she was taken by a man. And the figures on the sheet were moving. What the hell is that?

"Did your father conjure up such an abomination?" I was outraged and shoved the sheet into the book. "Then no wonder you're such a pervert."

"I drew it with my shadows." Nort said in a satisfied tone, leaning casually against the doorjamb.

"Is this how you envision your wedding night? What disrespect for a woman!" I crinkled my nose and walked toward the library exit, which Nort was blocking.

"I drew it when I was fourteen, after an orgy where I spied on heretics." Nort admitted and grinned cheekily.

"Please spare my ears the details." I asked.

I tried to push Nort away with my shoulder, but he wouldn't move. I took a step back and looked at him questioningly. Nort shrugged and said.
